Re: Rovers Replacement Evo IV

Once you've sorted those issues, you may well think you'd have been better putting the money toward a 6. We recon AYC pumps btw if it's any help, we're nr odsal top roundabout end of M606. http://www.amwmotorsport.co.uk/pages/Mitsubishi%20Evo%20services.shtml Really nice car though, just be weary of...

Re: Is it possible to have a 1400 bottom end and a 1800vvc h

I would have expected mems 3 engined cars , such as the 25GTi to use the black CTS, not the brown one used on older mems ecu's. I can't say I've checked the resistance differences, but you may find its had a replacement head or engine fitted at some point and they never bothered to swap the sensor. ...

Re: How many Genuine 420Gsi Turbo's are owned by us..? 2010!

To be fair, Rizzy bought a 420 Nasp, in the same colour, and absolutely immaculate condition. pretty much all the underpinnings were swapped over. He's done your old car justice as such, would have been much more time and finantially worthwhile for him to break it, but instead it has been reborn in ...

220 T16 freeflow downpipes, £250, limited offer

We have recently dropped the price of our downpipes to £270, including the standard 3bolt flange, but as we have been trading on this forum for a while, and not done any offers, we thought we'd add one. 4 downpipes are up for grabs for £250 each, or £260 each inc postage. They will come with the tur...

T4 diagnostics and services

Hi all, AAautosport now have a T4, with full range of key programming, ecu programming and diagnosic services on all MG-rover cars. I shall be looking into downloadable maps over the next few weeks too. One for all the turbo owners. If you don't want to use an "unlocked" ecu or have it dec...

Re: Gaz coilovers £482

For track use, you'd be after around 450 on the front and 500 on the rear. But beware, this would create an awfully harsh ride for the road, especially on the smaller, unsmooth B roads.

Gaz coilovers £482

We have our own custom GAZ coilovers for sale at £482. These are designed to fit any bubble 200, 25 or ZR. They are based on the road kit, but use the larger (stronger) rod from the GAZ Gold coilovers inside the road body (allowing for the narrower spring/wider wheels). They are also designed to all...

He brought the car to us already stripped of an engine, with all parts in boot.

Might have only had 1 r8, but had 3 420 tubbies and one 220 hatch tubby. Not sure we got pics of them all.

We've also arranged for our neighbours Zorstec (who do all our exhaust and stainless steel work, someone to speak to with regards to 3" systems) and the paint chap next door to the other side to be open too for you all to have a look around, see demonstations etc.

I will ammend the first post.

I would say the ZR's handle much better, although we've seen some good handling coupes/420's, yet some abismal ones. With regards to chassis stiffness, i'm not sure on the difference between a ZR and coupe (although do know the subframes are striffer due to having an extra layer of metal over the 20...

well as said in my opinion if you have to rev it to 11k to get 700hp its not very efficient i would have gone down the 4g63 route on a 2.3 stroker kit and gt42r and think they rev them to 8500 and make more than 700hp it would have been alot cheaper john But then you have to realise the longer stro...

Re: Cograts to Andy Nicholls (again!)

The revs allowing near enough 11k when needed will certainly make use of the large turbo. 11k? Whoever told you that? The turbo in it doesn't - IMO - flow enough to run over 700hp. If it takes 11k to make 700hp then it is making very poor use of it! I never said it goes to 11k through ever gear, no...
