Re: been done by another local garage

Interesting about the kwik fit bit, they sorted out a slow rim puncture on my rover and left the alloy looking like it had been soaked in a bucket of oil and there was a huge size 12 print on my passenger seat :annoy: , God only knows why a kwik fit man had stepped with one foot on the seat :? oh an...

Re: Post Code Insurance Groups - Postcode Risk Assessment List

That is a pretty old list. Postcode has become less and less of factor in insurance. One of the biggest changes in the last few years is that for some insurers (and all will follow) you credit rating is one of the biggest factors now. oh, now I understand why mine is so high  that will just e...

Re: Post Code Insurance Groups - Postcode Risk Assessment List

the value of the car is probably more of a factor than the postcode. 1k car fully comp, car gets nicked, they payout 1k maybe 20k car gets nicked, they have to pay out 20k... Still, im in a A grade so cant complain, strangely, i had one of my cars stolen outside my own house heh... good point, as I...

Re: Post Code Insurance Groups - Postcode Risk Assessment List

Really inetersting post, I drive a little 618is and from your chart I'm in an 'A' area, I'm 25 and have 3 years no claims and it still costs me £700! t/p/f/t only, I was hoping to see my area was high risk to justify my stupid insurance, but now seeing I'm in the lowest risk area I feel worse lol, t...

Re: Buy a car, V5 never turns up?

I suppose if the DVLA really wanted to take the p*ss then they're still within their 6 week limit,

but what's this about being flashed? I'm out of date on these things, it's my birthday today, yay, no jelly anymore, just extra big bills so I hate it, Bah'humbug, so anyway, what's being flashed about?

Buy a car, V5 never turns up?

What's the next move?

I bought my 618is at least 4 weeks ago, the dealer said he's sent it off. (he gave me the n/k/s ) , he says he has sent it, which DVLA department do I need and is this going to cost me?

Re: why make a road car do over 150mph?

Speed is needed. Or more importantly, acceleration. Round here in the deepest darkest fens, we have loads of farm machines on the road clogging everything up, we do have A roads, and they even venture onto those and continue their clogging effect. It's fair enough, they need to get to where they're ...

why make a road car do over 150mph?

I'm confused. Why make a road car capable of speeds over 150mph if when you're caught doing it you get an instant jail snetence?

Re: Bloody egay again

A true lying gimp. Paypal are holding your money as standard practice, it don't mean the theiving gypo is going to get his hands on it. IF they decide in his favour he will still have to send the item back to you by recorded delivery at his own cost, this can be by carrier that is on the paypal appr...

That sounds like that's what he's put into the dispute console which is designed to be a communication tool between buyer and seller to help resolve it without paypal having to make a decision. He clearly thinks paypal are actualy going to consider what he types into it when chosing who to back. Wha...

Re: Bloody egay again

I could have sworn that paypal can't take money out of your bank account? Hence why people end up waiting years for a refund, because the cash isn't in their paypal account. Wouldn't it count as an unauthorised transaction on your bank card? Man Paypal Suck, If you lose the dispute and there isn't ...

Re: 6 months in prison for this.......WTF

Personally i think the lad will be far more traumatised about the sentence and being away from his father. I agree with that. the sentence was a bit harsh. No need to fill prisons up with speeders, not saying that speeding shouldn't be dealt with firmly, but, maybe something like a 5 year ban would...
