Re: vote on the EU
And why has the British steel industry gone the way it has? Because there's and EU ruling that prevents the government bailing them out. That is garbage. The government can offer assistance (and has I believe) but there is little appetite for doing so. The real issues with the Steel industry is for...

Re: vote on the EU
We're probably heading for another recession anyway even if we stay in. Someone wrote a great post on Facebook last week. Talking about the future and how his kids will never be able to get on the property ladder and even renting would wipe them out and leave them skint due to the hike in rental pri...

Re: vote on the EU
This country would not operate without open borders. Look back in history, every time foreign labour helped rebuild this country. Currently we would hardly have a farming or food industry without eastern european labour. The Tory party seem determined to turn us all into racist scumbags when the wo...

Re: vote on the EU
Being in or out of the EU has nothing to do with people sitting on their arse scrounging, that's the governments fault. If they didn't pay so much out in benefits and make it pointless working then people would get off their donkey boy and get a job. The problem is ,without stereotyping, most of the...

Facebook car sales..... Is there something I'm missing, V5's
Bit of an odd one but it's been bugging me for a while, just wondering if anyone else had noticed.... I, like many, join a lot of car sales Facebook groups but has anyone else noticed a good 90% of the cars for sale on them always say "no v5" , "v5 lost in house move but full receipt ...

I think unless your in to the dub scene then modifying or owning a modified car isn't really that popular anymore? Atleast round here anyway I rarely see modified cars anymore, and I don't mean big body kits either I just mean enthusiast owned cars in general. Most young lads around here drive bran...

Rover 25 1.8 Turbo unfinished project £350
Yes it's back up for sale and deffinatly going this time. For those who don't know I started this project over two years ago, since then we've had another baby and in reality it's never going to get finished. Only needs a few bits to finish but I really can't be bothered and it's taking up space. 20...

Strange logic, no time or motivation to re-fit the parts you removed but if it doesn't sell you'll have time and motivation to break it?

Black 17" MG straights with tyres
You all know the score, fit all the usual 4-stud MG and Rovers apart from the metro and MGF/TF. Been sat in my garage taking up space for the past 12 months, doubt I'll ever use them. Painted black badly by someone in the past, paint chipping off two of the wheels. With centre caps but MG badges hav...

Pretty pointless and would probably never get used but nice to have if you own a concourse model. Must be quite rare now.

Re: V62 new logbook form and Cat D
It all depends if copart bothered to send the V5's back to the DVLA or not I suppose. If you get one then it's just luck of the draw I guess. When my mum crashed her 75 off the insurance wrote it off and a copart lorry came direct to her house to collect it. The driver just filled out the trade slip...

Re: V62 new logbook form and Cat D
If the DVLA have it registered as Cat D on the system then they will charge you for a new V5. The reason you didn't get the V5 is because the insurance companies are meant to destroy them when the car is written off. Cat D you must include the fee for a new V5, Cat C the cost of the new V5 is includ...
