:( What is it with Rover coupe theft?!

What other bits and pieces did it have on it - the gold Roversport wheels are a bit of a giveaway, but what other parts should people keep an eye out for that were a little unusual/special?

If you get a good BRM, you'll be laughing. A good friend of mine had a GTi-6 and it wasn't any faster than my old BRM point to point. The red leather is a bit bright to start with but grows on you, however the front seats aren't as grippy as you might hope when tearing around. Things to look out for...

Does the BRM use the same CV joint as a Vi then? I remember that someone told me that it was different. I could be wrong mind you.

205 GTi 1.9 without a doubt for £500. Nice handling (if you can find one that doesn't need the rear beam sorting out), pretty nippy, and it still looks fairly "cool".

Adrian Flux have a bad reputation for pay outs. Still if your after TPFT and some no claims years then I dont see why not at all !!! I've heard the same thing in reference to pay outs, hence why I didn't go with them this year even though they were a little cheaper. A bloke I got speaking to on ano...

Eventually the forum killed off the day to da...

what should I do?

As some of you will be aware, I had a BRM until the end of 2004. It was a fantastic car - nippy, great looking (though some of you may disagree...), well kitted, and frankly a brilliant car. Unfortunately, it was written off and I couldn't find a suitable replacement at the time, so I bought a Peuge...

The other option for you is to cantact Valeo themselfs, i am sure that they will be less than impressed that this company is fobbing off customers and giving Valeo a bad name. im sure one phone call from Valeo to the supplier will sort out the issue. Exactly! They'll love someone selling inferior p...

The quotes are good. The Customer Service out of normal office hours isn't. Just try getting anything sorted after 6.00 and you get put through to another country! Just keep your fingers crossed that you don't need to contact customer services at a strange time - you can be re-rooted to Bangalore (or similar), and spend an age trying to explain things on the phone!

I'd stick with the mech unless you want serious power. You risk losing out on low end torque with a solid cam set up. It has got to be the 200 BRM. I like everything about this car bar the the insurance grouping. Its rare (only about 800 ever in the UK), stands out, looks better, is made better and is more fun than the ZR160. I would say that though - I have got one and I love it to pieces!
