820 Tickford stainless steel exhaust system for sale
This is off a Tickford 800 but with a little work on the middle section flange could be made to fit any 800 easily. Looks to be in good condition aside a little oil on it. It's 2.5" pipe and there's a decat attached to it as well. I'll let that go with it. Looking for offers in the region...

Re: Need to scrap a car...
Chris you're trailer is the coolest thing I have ever seen. Do you have any info on it? What is it used for? Have you thought about making a stretched limo 800? Thanks, nice of you to say. I did chuck up a thread on here just before Christmas. Feel free to PM me or reply there if you like...

800s have two types of cats on them, the older up to 96 cars were 'proper' cats. Most of the post 96 cars had ceramic/euro cats. It sounds as if that's what Rover used across the board at that time?

Re: Towing Laws
The AA tow on the motorway with straight bars As do I, it's a very grey area in my experience. My advice is whatever you do make sure you're doing it as well as you can. ie no silly speeds etc. I either use a trailer board or stick a plate of the towing car on the rear and a plate saying 'on tow'. ...

Re: motor trade insurance
I'm with Tradex as well, though mine's not a full on trade policy. They've changed my policy this year from what they called 'Enthusiasts' to 'Homefleet'. Price went up as well naturally. :annoy: I first went with them in 2002, back then you needed to be over 21 with 2 years experience/NCB. As said ...

They usually give you a year to sort it. As long as the SORN is up to date and contiues on from the Tax as it says above. You can get away without MOT as well for up to a year. Though they do sometimes come and inspect the car(s) to make sure they exist. They did on a MK4 Escort Cab I had when addin...

Evening all, I don't get here much these days but couldn't resist posting in this thread. I have several storage areas for my car/Rover 800 habit. Here's a few pics. This is garage number 1. It's full of 800 parts. Most things you can think of. http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b20/CHR15E/Parts/DSCF...

Pretty sure it's not a 2L. It was on ebay the other week being sold as an 827 when it's actually an 825 (KV6).
Went for £1930 I think.
Looks like it's been bought and cleaned and put back up for sale?

What sort info would you need from me?
I'd be wanting everything bar the front screen basically.
Would you need old glass for templates?

A two piece cable, the two pieces join about 8" from the end where it goes into the gearbox and the speedo drive is plastic. One piece the speedo drive is metal. Is the join near the the TB and just the outer cable? If so it's a two piece one. What sort of fitting is on the end of the PAS pipe...
