Yeh a grand does sound a bit steep. Ive seen good sprays done for about 800 quid all in! Best way to do it is prep it yourself as thats what takes the longest (More labour charges if done at a shop!)

Also ive heard spray jobs tend cost less up north, dont know how much truth is in that though!

I did indeed! Cheers dude! I can get insured on an impreza no problem, BUT when my engine coverted, turbo charged 216 costs more on the insurance as youve messed around with it! Just keep that in the back of your mind! Anyway good luck, im sure we can share advice etc, And create a build up thread!
