Re: Accidentally smashed my tv
Tell your insurance company to man up and get one of their inspectors to come and examine it. Asking you to get a report is out of order. When my Sony DVD recorder suffered catastrophic death by lightning, my company sent an engineer round who promptly announced it was indeed dead and sent a report ...

Time for a 55" or 65" UHDtv then. They can be had for reasonable money now and if the insurance company are offering you new for old and the excess is £100 then that's cheap.

I got a new old stock heatshield for my 820 turbo which is designed to protect the alternator from the turbo/exhaust heat.
True, they do look like asbestos in their construction but I think it's actually grp. Anyway, I don't plan on cutting it up to find out if it's not grp but asbestos.

Re: Anyone using LED exterior and interior bulbs upgrade
12v sidelight LED bulbs just plug in, it's the indicator bulbs which will need the resisitor because they will flash too rapidly without, unless you get an electronic flasher unit which actually uses a timer for the flash ferquency rather than depending upon a heated wire inside the unit. Without th...

Don't quote me on this but it seems logical that the longer arm covers the drivers side and the shorter one fills in the left side of the windscreen.

Write to his bank. You have the sort code and account number. Tell them the guy has defrauded you and you want your money back. Write a letter, not an email and have it sent recorded delivery. That way you'll know they've received it. TBH, whinging on for 6 pages has achieved nothing except to get y...

Re: Pirtekgate-The saga rolls on - Still No pipe - Greg has
I saved both pics on my pc and compared them. The pipes are not the same way round which makes a direct comparison quite hard.
Since all of these pipes started off the same colour and finish, will it be possible to see the recently delivered pipe in the same position as the missing one ?

Re: cheap t16 starter motor + 420 petrol or diesel driveshaf
I've got one which I took off a nasp t16 as it would sometimes not engage first time. I reckon a service kit would make it right as it had no problem starting the car so the motor is strong. It's free if you want it but due to the weight will need collecting. I'm in Bolton. I'm not sure now if it's ...

The £75 should be the total excess for a single claim so if you claim for both windscreen and the side window you should only pay the £75.

It will still remain as a design and technology centre, it's only the production* line which will go. I guess they'll still need storage space for all the vehicles to have their PDI's done. If the brand grows as it should, they'll need the space. Also, the local Labour MP is a bit miffed as he says ...
