Re: Fonts in Windows 7 don’t seem to be as sharp as in XP?
Hi the card is VGA/HDMI/DVI and the monitor is only VGA. So do you think getting another monitor with DVI input and lead will improve the image quality so the text clarity will make it usable?... Well put it this way, my LCD monitor has a VGA and DVI input, the difference between the two is chalk a...

Re: Fonts in Windows 7 don’t seem to be as sharp as in XP?
VGA (being analogue) is awful when using a digital (LCD) monitor. Does your monitor and graphics card have a digital input/output? Like HDMI or DVI, if so use these you will get a much better picture anyway.

If you get someone to take off the plastic trim at the bottom of the windscreen under the wiper arms you'll find it has 'Tomcat' written on the back of it.

I saw on the news today that Birmingham Council are to sell off the NEC along with other assets. Once you start selling assets to pay bills you are on the slippery slope. There wont be much left in Britain to sell before long... Keep voting for LibLabCon so we get more of the same folks  :(

It doesn't matter which car your engine came out of, it depends on which car you're fitting them to. As the distance and position of the radiator, coolant bottle etc are all different.

Although it would be a shame, but that would most likely get you the most dosh. It's an early Cowley model anyway so they have few bits and pieces which people like to retrofit to their later vehicles.gbs100 wrote:or would i make more braking it.

Water in boot will be either the stupid rear light gaskets, which have a split in them from new, how on earth they ever expected that not to leak I don't know. Or the other stupid design of securing the rear window trim clips to the body by making a hole in the body, then sealing it with a foam wash...

I bought a ported head from a member on this forum, so just wondering what to do with my old one. It's complete with a set of turbo cams (not pictured) but no lifters. It was running fine before I took it off, but obviously could probably benefit from some work here and there. Please note that I've ...

Off topic, and an old post, so... sorry :) Do these "require" longer studs ? My car gets a bit of a hammering, and am worried that the standard studs wont cut it. Same goes for the thinner ones you had done if people dont mind commenting :) I did, frankly I wouldn't feel confident driving...
