Re: Emergency Request, Help needed southwest

Poor sod, he has not been having much luck with that one recently has he

If anyone speaks to him (and if he hasn't got it sorted out) I might be able to run a bottom end up to him next weekend.

Re: Complete T16 engine + box for Rover 25 conversion

I have a complete engine and gearbox from a '97 Vitesse if that is any good for you. The gearbox has already been rebuilt with steel caged bearings.

Also has the flywheel, the ECU and the immobiliser with it and all ancillaries.

Re: BREAKING NOW - Vitesse Sport Saloon, Zircon Silver

I'm on holiday until 14th June with no internet access. Two rear hub assemblies, not bothered about the discs but must have the abs sensors. How about £30 plus postage ? If you weren't so damned far I'd have had the front wings too as mine are quite rusty at the arches. Not a problem, where are you...

Re: BREAKING NOW - Vitesse Sport Saloon, Zircon Silver

It may help if people know where you are based. I'm in need of an offside hub assembly for my 800 with the abs sensor attached or even the pair if they're not too dear. Good point, well made - original post has been amended to show cars location. Any parts that are not on the list, tell me what you...

Couple of my Vitesse Bits.

I am breaking my Vitesse and need to get as much from it as I can to help fund my move and next project (that the wife doesn't know about) and would like peoples opinions of what these are worth. Standard Vitesse PG-1 gearbox, rebuilt with steel caged bearings, no whines, knocks or other strange noi...

BREAKING NOW - Vitesse Sport Saloon, Zircon Silver

Not enough interest in my '98 Vitesse Sport Lux Saloon to warrant spending the time and money MOTing her for sale so I am reluctantly breaking her. All bits are available, this is just a quick breakdown of the bits that are fairly easy to get off. Downpipe from 178BHP Vitesse £20.00 Downpipe from 20...

Re: Killer CV - Job Hunting

I agree with Null_Byte, if a CV is more than two sides of A4 (printed on good quality paper) most companies would not look through it properly (if at all) and you are best keeping to the point and accompanying it with a well written letter where you can expand on things that would be relevant to the...

The cup next to the sprockets is fixed on that bike and you just adjust them on one side.

Re: Cycling Types: Newbie Question

Knock the lock nut loose with a screwdriver, tighten up the cup so it is fairly tight - but so the crank still moves freely - and then nip up the locking nut. There are different size bearings for the bottom bracket if they are shot and it fairly easy to replace them, but it would be worth seeing ho...
