Problem isn't it breaking it's that it gets blown open from high pressure and finding one that can handle high pressure isn't easy or cheap.

Nothing wrong with running a recirc at 24 psi.

There is when even a forge one doesn't hold hard enough and you end up with a nice boost leak!

Actually most cars benefit more from a recirc valve but try using one when you're running 24psi just doesn't work :annoy:

My saab 900 has a dump valve thing is some petrol cars do actually need one because of the boost they're running mines running enough boost that it just blows recirc valves lol :lol:

But most cars don't actually need one especially ones running about 12psi :wink:

No by 5" straight through I meant no cat or decat it was custom made to fit an MR2 bolts straight onto the downpipe box itself is made by Japcan someone I know had it made then crashed his 2 before it went on so he let my have it for £115 full stainless.... BARGAIN! :lol: Figure i'll make the m...

Last week I had to do the clutch slave cylinder on the saab went to bed at 3:30am then back up at 5:30am for work not sure how I do it at times lol

The MR2 not sure what group it is all I know is insurance wasn't cheap due to the fact it's a jap import and the mods including the fact it has the Rev3 jap engine which is 178bhp so pretty nippy for a NA

Personally I can't fault normal helicoils they're holding the engine mounts to the gearbox on the MR2 and the bolts are properly torqued up to 55lb/ft :)

In all fairness if you know your brakes are starting to fade quite badly why go and push so hard into a corner? The way I see it is he was highly irresponsible in his actions and no one should have thanked him for attempting to avoid an accident that his stupidity caused! :evil:

I've never had anyone complain about me working on the car on the drive, in fact when I was under the MR2 for a good hour the other day changing the clutch again(Funny story there) one of the polish that lives opposite came over to check I was ok thought that was rather nice of him :D

Make sure and check what ever one you go for doesn't have a welded diff before you part with your cash..... Test drove one that I didn't know was welded and it's more scary than driving the MR2 in the wet lol
