The future may very well be horse and cart after the implosion of civilisation due to overpopulation, but that's another debate

Re: The future is electric?

I can see the point in electric vehicles in cities but they will never be the future of motoring unless/until there's a massive breakthrough in battery technology. Even if this did happen tomorrow it would be too expensive for joe public, and even if it wasn't and everyone went out and bought an ele...

Don't forget the income tax threshold is going up to £10k That's going to make a real difference to lower paid workers. Hey guys, just remembered this thread. I wanted to come to this but as luck would have it I have to meet someone at Edinburgh airport that day to sell my other car. On the plus side my coupe isn't sold so hopefully I can make it next time (central or eastern would be nice :D ) Have a good one :thumb...

Why wait for a gear change to get your whoosh, simply fit an awesome electronic dump valve and at the push of a button you can dump at your leisure while avoiding the running costs of a turbocharged car 8)

I've been having headphone issues too. Re: any home brewers?

My local pub kept all their 500ml empties for me and they just kept on piling up in my garage, i couldn't brew beer and drink it quick enough to use them so just kept a sensible amount.

I have about 150 bottles of homebrew in the garage and another 100 or so empties so that should do me a while.

18C or over will be fine, maybe just take a little longer to ferment. The first few I did at 24C were ready in 5 days but at 18 it was nearer 10 days.

Good luck with it

I personally dont see why it being a K plate and a UK car makes it worth less?? "Mint" or "immaculate" are overused words and seem to mean different things depending on whether you're a buyer or a seller. In reality there are probably very few actually mint coupes around and you'd be lucky to find someone willing to sell one. There are plenty of very good on...

That pint looks good  From the kits i've tried i've found that anything made to over 6% is bordering on becoming too strong, the usual 4.5% is just about right for taste. Yep, i've found a place that does 500ml brush on landrover paint for the same price as a 300ml spray can so it would make sense to go that route. If it was a newer, better bike i'd have probably got it blasted and powdercoated but i just wanted something to do really and rescued my old bike from my ...

How much paint to spray a bike frame?

As title, want to give my old bike a budget paint job and was thinking of going army green. For some reason it's bloody expensive and I can only find it in tiny 150ml cans (or large pots, landrover paint). Anyone ever sprayed a bike frame who can tell me how much it takes/how many cans of colour coa...
