T4 diagnostics and services

Post by bendjunkie »

Hi all,

AAautosport now have a T4, with full range of key programming, ecu programming and diagnosic services on all MG-rover cars. I shall be looking into downloadable maps over the next few weeks too.

One for all the turbo owners.
If you don't want to use an "unlocked" ecu or have it decoded (making your immobiliser pretty useless), we are also offering a postal service for coding your engine ecu to your 5AS or SCU. Just post them to us, and you'll receive them back ready to go. We can also do this with the "550" ecu's by making them robust (ie, they need the immobiliser code). This also means you can use any of the T16 turbo ecu's with your MK1 or MK2 ZR ZS 25 45 etc, and have a working immobiliser.

For prices please email adrian@aaautosport.co.uk

All an 'unlocked' ECU is, is one that has had the existing code cleared and the ECU reset back to default condition. The next time it sees a code from a 5AS - it'll pair to it on that first start up, and then subsequently only work when the 5AS provides a 'mobilise' code.

To stop the ECU pairing with an alarm, cut the alarm signal wire at the ECU plug.

Yeah i get that ( if your replying to me )

He claims he can make the 550 "robust" though. The 550 never had an immobiliser function so was just wondering the ins and outs of that.

I've emailed, but had no response.

Can you add a 3 degree ignition advance to a MEMS3 160VVC ECU? This is supposed to be possible using T4.
