Stainless pipework after a simple degrease and clean

I remember some people saying their pipework from silver storm was rusting, this was a while back. I didn't give mine a glance at the time as I didn't really believe it would have rotted away. Right enough after removing the water system last week I gave the pipework a quick clean with the following results:

Looks pretty stainless to me!

simple kitchen degreaser, soapy water, green scotchbrite and elbow grease.

Nope, they were polished anyway, I just cleaned them.

I think a lot of people expect stainless steel to be stain-proof, when the clue is in the name :whistle:
