As title

Made the jump to rotary

Picked up the "clean your car" branded "shine mate" EP801 Sonax perfect finish kit

as seen here

also invested in a 3" backing plate and a couple Chemical Guys hex logic 4" pads to get me going

Very nice. I presume that iis a pure rotary as opposed to DA?
I got my DAS6 pro from there as well as pads, polish etc etc
It gets quite habit forming!

Hexalogic pads are very good! 3M ones have slight better results but these ones last longer.

What is the small backing plate like? Have they become more flexible?

Used to struggle for backing plates in the UK, the 3M one being the best of the bunch.

its ok

not as flexible as the 5"

rather rigid if i am honest

but has done ok so far

Looking at making the step up when funds allow it to some 3m stuff
