excellent bulbs :D i'm slowly replacing all mine with them. I've got the headlight bulbs, just need headlights fitting and to get the side light bulbs from somewhere.

I replaced my street lights with LED 501's

Nice pure white look though not blindingly bright or anything but then street lights arent supposed to be. They do all the minor light fittings with LED replacements which last longer are white rather then yellow and can be brighter.

I also replaced my inside reading light bulb with an 18 LED light, definetly brighter :) Got a reversing light too but thats just the same brightness really but I guess it'll last longer and save money eventually

The guy who runs it is nice and helpfull for any problems, so I recommend em basically.

Only thing is his VAT system is a bit confusing, you dont get the proper final price till just before you pay, but the p&p is very reasonable

www.Ultraleds.co.uk is the place

Have to say my own dealings with Ultraleds has taken a turn for the worse. They have supplied a couple of recent orders wrongly, not once but twice and have now taken exception to my (I admit somewhat sarcastic) complaints and will no longer sell to me :o :x . Laughable really, as it all stems from their own ineptitude.

If these are the ones in the gold packaging I had a pair and they didn't last very long and weren't much brighter than the normal ones (I compared one headlamp to the other when I fitted the first bulb).
I do, however have most of my normal bulbs replaced with LED ones. The reverse lights look really good although the 21w equiv bulbs in my rear fogs don't look any brighter than the sidelights (5w equiv) next to them. That could be down to the design of the reflector itself so I put normal bulbs back in. Brake lights look good especially as they light instantaneoulsy when you press the pedal. I just have to do the indicators as they need a resistor fitting to load the flasher unit properly (or I need an electronic flasher relay).

All the Halfords bulbs used to be made by Ring, and the quality was excellent, recently they have kept the retail price the same but the quality is poor

The Philips vision plus and osram silverstars ones are excellent and can be found for a bargin online
