Basically I sold a car on EBay to someone in Ireland. He paid me about 3 months ago and said he was arranging for a company o pick it up.
I haven't heard from him for ages and am unsure what to to. The car needs to be moved, I was going to strip it as its too good to scrap but don't really want to as in theory, its the other guys car. I don't want to get rid of it and him to come back to me saying its his etc...
You've obviously tried contacting him I presume? If you only have an e-mail contact and no address, try contacting his bank and explain the situation. Ask them if you wrote a letter, would they forward it onto him?
Gary
I have sent his a few e-mails. Don't have any bank details, but he did pay me through PayPal and they usually supply and address, will have to check that.
I will PM Paul see what he says, thanks for the fast replies people....
Personally I'd send another email saying if the car is not collected within one month of the date of this mail then it will be sent to the crusher, unless an alternative arrangement is mutually accepted.
What car is it and how much did he pay?
Perhaps a call to the citizens advice may be able to give you a definate answer

Its a Peugeot 309 Mi16, had full respray and Ecosse bodykit etc, he had it for £750..
Well send him the email, there may be a plausable excuse, illness, in hospital?? if no joy, re-list on ebay, if he clocks it for sale there again might spur him into action
But worth a call to the CAB, it's free, and good advice, I don't think (although may be wrong) that after 3 months he's got much of a comeback
What I'd do is request his contact details from ebay, and phone him up.
A recorded (signed for) letter explaining the car needs mooving asap. or will be reported to the counce as dumped, they will crush it.
Failing that have you checked your money is still in paypal? He may have requested a chargeback and went elsewhere.
