Mule wrote:The problem is i cant talk to the owners because, obviously, cats live outside and its just the way it is so they cant really be held responsible for the damage so what can i do?

And why not? It's their cat? I am an animal lover, but i treat as I find and so when next doors cat jumped into our kitchen window and decided to help itself to our goldfish it went straight into the bathroom toilet for a few flushes with toilet blue whilst I sat on the seat. The noise it made anyone would think I was killing it. :o

It never came back. Funny that. :P and ran away from me after that.

People get the blame when their dogs bite people to why cant cat owners get the blame with damage to property. Maybe the threat of the small claims court would make them sit up and take notice. :x

Lots of suggestions for throwing water over, chasing off, shooting etc, but all these things will make a cat big scratches in your car as it scrambles off. Bit of a phyric victory :?

Great term Punxor!

A Pyrrhic victory is so called after the Greek king Pyrrhus, who, after suffering heavy losses in defeating the Romans in 279 B.C., said to those sent to congratulate him, "Another such victory over the Romans and we are fooked."
