However, there is a shred of merit in that lowerd seat back malarkey although this owner has failed to appreciate it. By lowering any mass in a car, you lower the centre of gravity - OK only a little but, on a race car that could be the difference between winning and finishing second...

I do love the other logic though ... whatever happened to Go faster stripes ....
