Hi all!

Theres a heated thread in the argentine rover club a bought wich coupes are tomcat?
Here some part of the group has the belief that the only coupes TOMCAT are the ones with the 2 lts turbo engines.
For what i know the style designe proyect was called tomcat, so no mather wich engine has the coupe is a tomcat, isnt it?
How can I prove this to them?
Thanks in advance!

Lucas

Is there any oficial post or article that I could show to prove this?

Thanks!

The coupe was called Project Tomcat, so all coupes are Tomcat.

If you get someone to take off the plastic trim at the bottom of the windscreen under the wiper arms you'll find it has 'Tomcat' written on the back of it. ;)

This applies to all Coupés.

I think the rover Brand didn't have the stigma in other countries as it did here, always see loads of r8s in France/Switzerland, it's just us Brits who like to bash our own stuff

Its our British weather that kills these cars quicker.

Rover in argentina work out verry good till the brand was closed!
Now the problem are the spares that are very expencive, but there are many rover lovers that still take cares of their cars!
