How do you resist?

Ok, I got home from holiday to find my induction kit which I bought off MaBz had arrived (thanks MaBz btw), so after emptying the car of all my holiday stuff I quickly set about sticking it on.
It was a bit of a pain as the fuse box was in the way of the pipe, and silicone hosing could have done with being a bit longer, but I got it on in the end.
I just went out for a quick drive on my own and I just want to know how do you lot resist flooring it everywhere?
The sound is so nice when you accelerate, it's rediculously difficult to drive calmly. I think if driven sensibly a cone filter should increase fuel economy due to less restriction, but that's harder than it sounds.
I must admit I was suprised at the volume of it considering my exhaust it completely standard.

It's a honda kit. I dont believe there is a specific 216 kit, but it seems honda engine bays have the same layout.
See
http://www.rovertech.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16304 for my thread asking about this.
Most kits for civic/crx 88-91 will fit, although a few say you need to move the battery so watch out.
I had trouble finding one that would ship to the uk, but a company called toys auto will and they have loads of kits on there.
Most are under $20 + $59 p&p, which works out at about £45.

Er... a few.
I've recently stuck on clear repeaters and on my shopping list are
Strut brace - hopefully in next few weeks
Suspension - 30-35mm drop, not sure when
Exhaust - Not much louder than std but looking nicer than std, going to get an old cat and make myself a decat pipe.
Want to get hold of a spoiler sometime, and I want to mesh the front grill and valance with black mesh.
Also maybe someday I'll try and get some half leather, and spruce up the interior a bit (gear knob, mats etc).
I've stuck 195/50/R15 tyres on the back of the car, and the fronts will be upgraded too when they wear out. Got these cos they are not only wider, but cheaper than std fitment. Bigger wheels aren't on my shopping list.

I know that thought. I loved the sound of my 1.6 when I changed the filter. Now I have a turbo which sounds even better
My friend has a Pulsar gti-r with no baffles in the exhausts and not only is it loud but it blows flames out the back ! Straight throughs are great on turbo cars.
Do you fancy meeting sometime ? I live in Portsmouth.
Fitting my 330mm brakes today

Yeah, will have to meet up sometime.
Done about 50 miles in the car today, I really love the induction roar. I love the fact that you put your foot down and it sounds

, but when driving sedately it's quiet.
I'll be interested to see what a decat does to the sound too when I get round to it.
