Hmmmi very much doubt a quarter in 14.05, its not a light beast, and 230 on 8psi???? Also very much in doubt. Still looks fun though.

Sorry mate, but the Evo 3 does 266bhp on 8 to 10 psi (BCV regulated). so 230 is about right.

Nice car mate, that would use the same engine as in my Evo rather than the 4+ I would have thought.

If you have the Evo 1 or 2 engine then you can run 1.2 bar max boost, if its the 3 engine (which I would doubt) then you can run no more than 1bar (14.5psi) due to the higher compression.

guy with auto version got 14.9

both on standard setup

as for insurance group i have no idea but adrian flux took 40 mins to find the model and came back with £1700 tpft

Yeah, I have seen some MMC Chariots (Mitsu Spacewagons) with the bonnet vent like that here. I never thought they might be such incredible monsters! You certainly will surprise a lot of people with that alright! I remember the 1.8 DOHC we had was very fast and I used to enjoy the look on people's faces when they would see a bus accelerate so fast!

The only thing you've got to watch out for which I'm sure will be the same with yours is that you will get buffeted from the side much more due to the big height you've got. At speeds above 80 you've really got to watch it, so be careful with that, especially on open sections of motorway.

Tosser1: Mate, you just got proper done like, by a people carrier, serious!

Tosser2: Don't diss the ride, bruv. It's just cuz I weren't trying, innit!

Oh yeah, boot space being very restrictive is one drawback with this car (unless of course you fold down the rear seats, but then you kind of defeat the purpose of having a people carrier.

You've also got to be mindful of how little space there is between the back of the car and the passengers in the rear seats in the event that you were to be hit from behind.

I acyually quite like this. Lots of potential for a people carrier!!

Although saying that personally i think i would have gone for the zafira gsi.

zafaira gsi's are nice m8 but start at 12k second hand

and they r vauxhalls ;)

and no where near as fast as this

they aint that high tbh nowhere near like galaxys etc but hoping to lower it anyway

boot space is minimal but then again most 7 seaters are unless u go minibus

oh and the turbo diesels come with the bonnet vent aswell ,theyre aint many gt turbos in the uk especially manual versions

anyway thanks for comments guys

Seriously, it doesn't matter how much you lower it, you can't change the fact that you have such a large surface area on either side. I'd hate to be seen as someone who would try to advise care on the roads ;) but crosswinds are definitely something you've got to watch out for in this car.

I like the fact that you can now legitimately say to people "my chariot is outside" btw! :)

I like it  pure stealth. Remember seeing one of these on Ebay not so long back. Could be interesting to see one of these tweaked to the max. First MPV at TOTB??

ok i best correct myself with some figures here

1/4 mile of this car aint 14.05 infact its 14.75

been talking in lengths to a guy in new zealand who drags one

but he says he put the boost to 17psi and fitted a 3" exhaust and de cat and a bit of weight reduction and he got 13.28,hes now changing cooler and few other things and aiming for mid 12s

so i apoligise for incorrect figures
