Hello all

Been down pts today and had a good run , managed to get :

142.7 bhp @ wheels
170.5 bhp @ flywheel

144 lb ft torque

engine spec

mg zr 160 engine
mems 3 re-map
modified exhaust manifold
and a bodged on air filter

Ps. what 1/4 mile tmies can you run with that power? I'm guessing your using a PG-1?

hello

didnt have much look with it the pother sunday when i raced that porsche as i had a throttle postion switch prob , was only reading 0 volts constantly :cry: , but now fixed and does seem to go better , just need to try and find a cold air kit for it , my last one run a 14,001 1/4 mile

and no i'm still on a r65 1400 box :wink:

Lol, thats ace, the 1400 box still coping! What induction system is on it at the moment then? I ditched my open pipercross for the original cold airbox, then i stuck an ITG element in there, cut off the cold air intake elbow and put a better cold air feed in coming up from the bumper. I heatwrapped the fannymold too to keep temps down a tad. Ideally i'd like an enclosed cone but i just can't afford one! :cry:

yes i want a inclosed cold air kit , i have just a bodged on filter on the end of the manifold at the mo

:jawdrop: ....thats a hell of a lot of damage.....reminds me of when i went from fifth to second (instead of fourth) when i was learning to drive :oops: ....glad that never happened!! Looks like where the liner has no surrounding support is where weaknesses are under extreme circumstances....any idea what rpm was used to do that?
