Chinese at longbridge?

Post by symonh2000 »

I just heard on the news the Chinese are planning on re-opening Longbridge to make a MG sportscar, and a Family saloon. Is this true? It must be good if it is for the sake of British Jobs at least, as well as MG enthusiasts. Although I can see the cars being very different to what we are used to.

TBH i think it is another smoke screen. At the moment there is a contract being bid on by the container huliers in southampton to take empty containers up to longbridge to have them filled and then onto a boat for the far east. I cant honestly see longbridge ever running again.
