SOHC to DOHC Honda

Post by 414i2006 »

Hi folks,

I've just been looking at some pics of a dohc in a 216 coupe, Is the conversion as simple as it looks? does it drop right on in and run on the current loom/ecu?

Also is the bottom end the same? i.e. could i just change the top end of the engine to double?

And just in case your lazy:

Bottom end is different you cant cheat ;)

Yes it drops in, but youll need to alter the coil/cam sensor wiring and a PAS pipe.
