It's not a Garrett unit.
But I fitted one about 5000 miles ago, no problems yet.

It's not really a case of every one of the non-Garrett ones falling apart. Some go for ages, others last 20mins, I believe the cheap price is rooted in unpredictability!

ACHTUNG!
There are loads of these flooding the market in all sorts of guises. I think that they are made by a Chinese company called Laishing (who also make model aeroplanes?) and are...wait for it...licenced copies from the Nikki Carburettor Company of licenced copies of Garrett Turbine Superchargers.
Wrought from finest sh!t-metal with bearings made of chocolate and plasticene shafts, they promise to give many minutes of service..!
