Rover 600ti for sale

Post by trem3412 »

Hi right up for sale is my rover 600ti not desperate to sell but have seen i nice sd1 i would like to buy :D

it has only had 3 previous owners one of them was rover them selfs the other two had it for about 7yrs a piece
It has done around 136000 but has had clocks changed for white dials easier to fit the pod they come in but have it wrote down somewhere of when they was changed and what milege etc

The bodywork is in good condition with no rust at all only down point is 3 small dings in o/s front wing but the rest is brilliant for a car of this age its taxed till end of december and mot till september but will have it done for the new owner if they would like as i cant see anything it would fail on, 2 folders of history

It has got pipercross panel filter, dump valve, cat back powerflow exhaust with just rear silencer but is still quiet just has a nice burble on idle the tyres on the 17's have only done 300miles lowered on avo springs 40mm i think, half tinted rear lights, laguna splitter meshed grille, front and rear grilles colour coded, short shift, aftermarket steering wheel, white dials interior very clean and seats in good condition etc, uprated clutch, mbc running a safe 12psi never run it higher and was me that fitted it was totally standard when i brought it with the standard bmv in there, this car is quick a friend of mine has a 400estate turbo was a members on here i believe that had a t28 large fmic and was running 14.5psi and mine was still quicker so could have had more done than i actually know about.

Only bad points i can think off are the wing mentioned earlier and the slave cylinder for the clutch leaking a little been like this since i had it but again this can be done for the new owner or may even be done before its sold anyway keep meaning to do it and just not got round to it

Anything i have forgotten or you would like to know just ask

£1200 ono is what i would like not in a hurry to sell as the sd1 is not ready yet but this price is negeotiable open to any sensible offers come have a look and drive we can go from there the car is located in buckinghamshire
would prefer an enthusiast buying it as it is a fine example and a rare colour so im told
thanks

£1400 is dreaming I'm afraid. Half the asking price and you might get some interest.

Well that's you opinion and your welcome to it but when rusty ones are going for 900 quid and 1400 is a guide price as you have to put a price up its alot of car for the money and no rust anywhere and has had all underseal taken off and reundersealed also all doors wings etc have been waxed by the previous owner hence the lack of rust I have owned loads of rovers and mg's most of them had a rust issue of some sort

Also a few pics have been added to the photo bucket link
Also the price is a guide only as you have to have one I have the money for the sd1 now but seems pointless keeping the ti in the garage doing nothing
All offers considered
All swaps px's also considered
And if there is no joy it's being parked up

Well it's hard to find clean ones and hardly ever see them modded and I think subtle mods make a real difference sometimes And the price is only a guide price

Where?

Show me one. Just one that sold for £900?

I saw a tidy one sell (with fair T&T , 89k) for £300 a few days ago.

I paid £700 for my tidy one 3/4 years ago and still think I paid too much.

Don't get too excited - 280 of those views are people on here that have clicked the ebay link, and probably 25 watchers are also users on here watching to see if you get anywhere near the guide price you expect.

And tell your mate to stop bidding.

eBay time wasters wanted me to wait six weeks before they could collect sent a second chance offer to the next bidder with no reply but that's the way eBay goes

Offer submitted. Well below the BIN but it's as far the budget will stretch for now.

Nice one man, good sale. I'd have bitten your hand off for it if my budget could've stretched that far!
