MG ZS 180 Hatchback £400 starting bid relisted

Post by Phoenix3dfx225 »

Evening all,

A too good of an opportunity arrived the other week to save a MG ZS 180 as a pal was going to scrap her as she was SORN'd and on the road requiring an MOT.

So rather than the scrap yard I got her cleaned up and MOT'd for 12months ready for a good home.

MG ZS 180 107k miles with Powerflow exhaust Sheddist Clutch Kit & 12 Months MOT- will accept £700.

PM if interested or:

He moved house, and bought a Mazda 6 Sport - blurgh. The car was fun to recover, we had hired a car transport trailer on the weekend of the snow blizzards. Luckly my bro and I were able to borrow my folks disco days before they traded it in. Low range and locked diffs hard at work!

Goes to show the quick demise of the MG Rover brand.

It was heading for the scrap heap with nothing really wrong with it :(

Well saved though, and I hope it goes to a good home.

Dont know what to say, its still available 2weeks on. Do people not use autotrader as much, in saying that you get sent an email by autotrader each week now when selling a care advising of how many views its had over the past 7days and its been close to 100 each time.

Will have to put it on ebay at this rate, either as a 7day auction with a reserve or a classifed ad.

24hrs to go! Grab a bargain. Even if its just for the engine or to put a T16 into in its place.

Unfortunately it's a 12 year old Rover with a big thirsty engine so its not something people want these days. It's not just MG-R either just take a look on AT, V6 Jag S and X-types can be had for well under a grand now along with BMW's, Mercs e.t.c

You will get a bid lol, i have only just bought a duff one, and after months of looking for something broken, i saw loads going for £400 plus as spares or repair ! so i would be suprised if you dont get at least your start bid.

Just start it at 99p with no reserve and hope for the best.

You'll get more interest if people can start low.

Relisted and I've also fixed the inlet manifold, so sounding much smoother and quieter! Updated original post!

You deserve better luck with this for saving it, I hope you get it.
If you relist it on eBay perhaps find out how much an LPG conversion would be and if its not too much mention it in the add?

LPG is no small matter. Researched it a few months ago. There are places that will do it for £800 in one day but they are fround upon as being a rushed job compared to places that charge £1.5k or more who spend longer and complete some remapping to optomise the setup.
