Genuine Rover 420 GSI turbo (Standard) SOLD

This is my genuine 1993 Rover 420 GSI turbo in black with grey half leather interior.

The car has not been modified and has been well looked after. Very few of these cars were made and even fewer have been left standard.

It is in very good condition for the year and has covered 95000 miles from new.

Some service history and cambelt, waterpump and tyres have all been replaced approximatly within the last 8000 miles (tyres still have loads of tread as the car has not been driven hard).

MOT until November 2009 and tax till the end of the month.

This is a reluctant sale as there are very few of these cars left in this condition but I have too many cars.

I have also advertised the car on pistonheads at £1450 but am open to offers as i would like the car to go to an enthusiast. Car is located near Epsom, Surrey.

Just to add the car has what I assume to be the usual GSI extras of electic mirrors, sunroof and front windows. Also has aircon which I think is working fine although hard to tell as its so cold anyway! It has an aftermarket alarm and immobilisor with certificate although this was not necessary for me to insure the car (which for costs £300 at 26 with 5 years no claims for me).

Will take some and get them up soon. For note the interior is in good condition with only very slight scuffing on the drivers bolster.

+1 on both accounts. REALLY miss mine LOADS, would love to have it over here and freak out a few Germans on the Autobahn. Somehow a 600 diesel doesn't have the same (any) effect.

Very very best of luck with the sale Couperob, certainly a very rare beast you have there. I'd like to hope it goes to a forum member or other enthusiast who will keep it alive and kicking. To think that mine at 10yrs old surprised enough 'superior' metal, this one at 16 years old should certainly have that effect and more.
