Now fitted with MG straights!




This was brought into the UK in and first registered in 1996. I have a jap MOT book with its jap certificate from 1994 showing 40,000 km.
She was fitted with New English clocks when she was registered, which are showing 97,000 miles.
I have owned this coupe for a few years and has never let me down other than CV joint and a sheared diff.
Unfortunately it has been hardly used in the last 12 months or so as my plan was to strip and rebuild the coupe to turn it into my coupe that I planned but as time has moved on. I have a new job and a new place to live so the rebuild never got finished.
The good points:
• Stainless exhaust with de cat (Org. supplied)
• Induction kit
• Batt to boot with red top gel battery and trip/isolator
• Samcoe red coolant hoses
• Samcoe red boost hoses
• Slim line fans read for a pulsar intercooler (one was fitted but not now).
• Short Shift.
• Poly bushed lower rear susp arms.
• Magnacore HT leads
• Rover sport grill.
• Oil Pressure gauge, Boost gauge, Water Temp gauge and AFR gauge all mounted in one off pods in Dash.
• Mk3 dash conversion.
• Alloy gear knob.
• Clifford 650 alarm with remote start, turbo timer and a few other functions.
• Full leather int.
• Aircon.
• Flare holder.
• MOT’d till August.
• 17” MG Straights
• Braided brake lines with DOT 5.1 fluid.
• Alloy lower coolant pipe.
• Stainless coolant return pipe.
• Engine bay mainly de wired, ECU relocated, engine bay fuse box relocated.
• Sony head unit, Infinate components up front and 8” pioneer in rear shelf.
Now for the main reason why I was going to rebuild her:
• Unknown gearbox just to get her mobile after the diff sheared. This is believed to be an 820 nasp box as the speedo is out and from gear ratios. (Reads 10mph faster at 50mph).
• Various oil leaks from engine.
• Lacquare crazed on roof and bonnet:

• Batt tray in boot needs remounting.
• No rear spoiler.
• One 50p size rush spot in bottom of passengers door. Couple of small rush spots in front wings. Very small spot on roof (They all read worse than they are).
• Alloys all alittle curbed
• Rear bumper eat a little round tail pipe.
• Needs new front disks.
So my plan was to rebuild the engine and re fit a steel caged box totally de wire the engine bay and a few other bits. She was a lot higher spec but I need to recoup as much money as possible without breaking a rare coupe.
