All ex army, all solid. If you break one you will find a few more in the box, but i havent managed to break them , they are very good quality.

interested what sizes are they?

Every size you can think of mate, there are tens upon tens of different brands, lengths, long reach , spark plugs etc.. 1/4 , 3/8 ,1/2 mix.

are they all imperial or is there some metric ones in there too?

you hit the nail on the head. thats what i was trying to ask

Mainly imperial , but there are a number of metrics in there.

Ideal for people with landrovers and ideal for getting off rounded nuts etc.

No , as above they are a mixture from 1/4 up to 1/2 including 3/8.

Postage , they are very heavy so will play it safe with £15.

Sodding bargain, even at the original price someone is getting a steal!

Fooking hell you tight gits Dan is practically giving them away if he lets them go much cheaper he may as well pay someone to have them if you had to buy that lot would be a hell of a lot more then he is asking and 500 sockets will weigh some so stop being tight or try and get what he is offering for the money you are offering somewhere else i know you would not get all them for that money so get ya wallets out and release the moths you tight gits

Whatever different sizes there are, you will find them all. Obviosuly there are a lot of duplications, you may have 20 of a certain socket, but theres a mix between long reach , medium , short and you will find the same size sockets in 2/3 differnt drive sizes too etc.
