Odd question about postage...

For things that don't fit into a category. i.e. non-motor related subjects.

Don't use FedEx unless you want your stuff to end up on a desert island with Tom Hanks.

 Yeah if you want your stuff thrown around and treated like sh1t! Trodden on, used as a step to reach higher boxes etc.
Seriously, if you value what you send you don't want to be using UPS.
I see the way they treat stuff on a daily basis unfortunately.

You tried parcel monkey using DHL?
I've just sent something to Australia, 9kg, 32x24x17 cost me £49.

Cheapest rates I could find for that one so give them a try.

Royal Mail?

Have come up good for me sending inside and outside the EU although my parcels are quite small. (No sniggering at the back there!)

RM won't take anything over 2kg for international (gay). Not sure about parcel farce, they operate from most post office counters.

I'm not sure if there any really "good" carriers. I used to waste time at work watching the DHL vans outside reception. The level of care was directly proportional to how many people the driver thought were watching.

I have to say I've experienced no delays (parcels or letters) at all with RM recently.
