Halfords Advert Poll
Is anyone else mentally scarred by the complete incompitence portrayed in these adverts. Fitting a car light like a house bulb, wafting a spray gun to correct a scratch, and buying a car DVD player without knowing it had a LCD screen! And most importantly, do these adverts really make people go to Halfords to pay for spotty prepubescent teens to 'correct' their pride and joy?

Re: Halfords Advert Poll
in reference to OP
yes that pisses me off!, especially the spray job, it makes people who run into your car scratching it back to the metal think that kind of thing is easy to fix!
in reality a patch repair is probably impossible, nevermind for halfords
not even to mention the protection such a repair will have preventing corrosion
basically someone scratches or dents you car, its fecked, its a ticking time bomb until it gets worse in a few years
i say we write to the watchdog

I saw this thread and thought "dare I post that I find that girl quite hot?" and decided against it.victor3 wrote:Actually, I find the sihouette girl with the pony tail to be a bit horny!!![]()

Then I read your post
Yes, the adverts are annoying. Probably because if you watch Dave they are only every single bloody ad break.
Of course, they're nowhere near as bad as "we buy any car". That's a very annoying advert coupled with a business that is almost a scam.

Re: Halfords Advert Poll
The more annoying thing is its not even halfords that do the repair. You book it through halfords and they just sub contract one of those mobile scratch/dent repair companies to come out and do it. So your probably paying twice as much than if you'd just gone directly the the mobile repair company.mg-richard wrote:in reference to OP

Re: Halfords Advert Poll
Clearly the most annoying advert is that fecking Haribo advert with the devil child!!
I think she may suffer the same fate as the Kelloggs Frosties ad when she grows up...
