New government driving regs to be brought in

For things that don't fit into a category. i.e. non-motor related subjects.

New government driving regs to be brought in

Post by MarkCoupe »

Just read this :(
Subject: New Driving Penalties

Due to the nature of the quality of driving in England the Department of
Transport has now devised a new scheme in order to identify poor drivers
and give good drivers the opportunity to recognise them whilst driving.

For this reason as from the middle of May 2010 those drivers who are
found to be driving badly which includes:

-overtaking in dangerous places

-hovering within one inch of the car in front

-stopping sharply

-speeding in residential areas

-pulling out without indication

-performing U turns inappropriately in busy high streets

-undertaking on motorways

-taking up more than one lane in multi lane roads

These drivers will be issued with flags, white with a red cross,
signifying their inability to drive properly, they will be known as 'Tw4t Flags' .
These flags must be clipped to a door of the car and be visible to all other drivers and
pedestrians. Those drivers who have shown particularly poor driving
skills will have to display a flag on each side of the car to indicate
their greater lack of skill and general lower intelligence mindset to
the general public. People with exceptional poor skill and intelligence
will have larger versions of these flags nailed to their home, to indicate
to any passers by, who lives there.

Please circulate this to as many other motorists as you can so that
drivers and pedestrians will be aware of the meaning of these flags.

Yeah, but these people are NOT supporting their country, they are supporting football. They wouldnt give an ar$e if 'England' won the world netball championship. It says much that i havent yet seen a single British/English car with a flag on yet, not even one thats just made here.

I heard that a team of scientists were doing some research and found that over half of the population had a chipolata less than 1inch in length.

They have asked these people to make themselves easier to identify by flying a white flag with a red cross from their car windows.

I would if I had a clue who it was!

He doesnt post much, I remember his newbie post reasonably recently.

He drives a red 45 with replica bmw alpina alloys on it and lives local ish to me. I commented that I have seen his car a few times parked up the road from me...

As I did the other day, with two flags on it.

But no search that I can be bothered to do has revealed the car, newbie post, or any clues...

I was gently driving along at 59.99mph *coughcough* down the A35 yesterday following a car covered in several huge examples of these monstrosities, was idly thinking to myself how utterly ridiculous it looked when one broke free and bounced off my windscreen. :x Left a mark, but fortunately no lasting damage.

Mind you, I suppose it may have suddenly become sentient and was trying to take revenge against my Bavarian automobile for the war.

Football? Not for me. I shall be in hibernation for the next few weeks and avoiding as much TV as I can. :P

Good point. The police should use these to target benefit cheats, dole scum and uninsured drivers. BJ have you got one of these on your car? :sorry:

If this was the 80s I could understand but the games are only on BBC1 and ITV. Two games a day means about 5 hours coverage a day. You seriously can't find something you want to watch on one of the other 480+ other channels?

It works out that approx 99.9941% of all available tv viewing is NOT the world cup

SRSLY get over it. :|
