It really does surprise me the amount of idiots we have on our roads still tailgating when its obviously icy. Was driving up a road about 30 minutes ago and this small brain in a van was tailgating me. As i usually do when people tailgate me, i slowed right down and then indicated in good time to where i was going. Of course being a complete idiot he overtook me on the ice putting himself, his passenger and me in danger.
Lets hope that he is in the van himself later on and he hits black ice and crashes it down an embankment without injurying anyone else but himself haha.
On a serious note though, why bother tailgating in weather like this, all that happens is you cause a crash then your insurance shoots up. Too many inexperienced stupid drivers in this country.
Awk well im sure one day they will all learn.

Re: Idiots in the snow
yeah last time there was snow here it was people driving too fast to be able to brake at junctions**. Result was about 4 cars a day slewing off into ditches and hedges etc. Snow and ice are treacherous.
Even just moving forward an inch on ice/snow with a nats-wing too much throttle means thrusting headlong into the nearest object straight in front of you, however gently you are attempting to turn the wheel. lol.
People dont seem to realise just how dangerous driving can be do they.
** its just occured to me that if you are driving along a main road its probably best to slow at junction points incase someone is flowing towards the side of you like a snow plough with their brakes on

Re: Idiots in the snow
Seen a few motors wiped out on Sunday when me and mac were on our way to newcastle, obviously not driving to the conditions! Best ones had to be the people carrier that had went straight through a telegraph pole into a field and a beetle that ended up facing backwards buried in the central reservation
