Re: Marty's Stock Rod Build
You have some skills to do what you have done to the car. Is all of the effort to then smash it up in a race?!

Re: Marty's Stock Rod Build
Bit of an update had not done much recently due to being ill.
Main Live and Earth cables all fitted.
Gearbox is now rebuilt and back in with locked diff and the correct Diff and 2nd gear ratio.
Also have the dash all built up and just a few bits left to do on the wiring.
It's getting there slowly but surely.

Car needs a good clean out inside but it's getting there [emoji16]

Re: Marty's Stock Rod Build
I have been doing it evenings after work and weekends and is nearly there still waiting on engine to come back from machine shopROVER-25X wrote:Its all these little bits that can consume your time too, how did you get on time wise with all these ?
Thanks
Got the suspention on the other night it now sits like a stock rod and has the camber to N/S/F wheel
The car now runs 2.25 springs that way I can easily alter the length and lb of spring if i need to tweek the handling I should not be to far of with the length an lb I have chosen.
The car also now on Gaz shocks all round which are valved correctly for a stock rod.
If you look you will see the car leans to O/S/F as I race in a clockwise direction

Here is the camber added

I have since tidied the garage up as it was looking a right mess

Re: Marty's Stock Rod Build
They are used on the inside O/S as they are ET49ROVER-25X wrote:Not keen on the rims but they look mint.
On the outside N/S I will run a different style that's ET13
It's not about looks it's about offset and J as it makes a huge difference how a car will handle on the oval
