Favourite car air freshener?

Post by PJW »

I know a lot of us will just throw in any old £1 freshener and thats that.

My personal favourite is a discontinued Magic Tree with a shitty face on it, that smells like sour apple. Yum.

Anyway, i find that most magic trees end up being out of smell after a few weeks, and i only end up getting more. Has anyone had any more joy with those ones in cans? Anyone got any perticular favourites that have a good shelf life and dont smell like a pound shop?

I always use magic tree vanilla (yellow one)

I always think it loses it's fragrance after a short while but everytime my friends Missus gets into my car she always says it smells really strong of air freshener.

Vanilla is the best pong anyway

Yeah a lot of people have mentioned those california scents, i just got one off ebay for £2.15 delivered, apparently the best one -

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CALIFORNIA-SC ... 855wt_1270

Fancied a change, i agree about the magic trees though. Although i once had an audi where the previous owner had put all old trees in the cubby hole in the back parcel shelf. Car smelt amazing with about 50 magic trees in there!

I like the smell of old Rovers with leather interiors, so can see no need for an air freshener.

Not only is the vanilla my favourite. I got the small spray can that I just squirt onto the magic tree to extend it's life as well.

It's kinda stopped the forest from dangling from the Oh poop handles in the back as I used to get when I had them up.

What spray? Is it good stuff? I might have to get some.. Saves having to get a new air freshener every 2 weeks at £2 a pop..

Mine is a very small can but I've had it for years as it takes just a minute amount to make the car smell.

This, I actually do. It's a running joke between me and Rich - every time one of us bought a new Rover, the other would make sure to buy a pack of Wether's to put in the driver's door pocket.

Gliptone real leather scent. Having leather seats doesnt mean your car smells like leather. This freshener actually smells like real leather from 50 years ago, not modern coated leather. Odd to start with, but people do comment on how 'expensive' my car smells

Another magic tree black ice here

Nice smell and it's the only thing that would overpower the existing wet labrador smell that the previous owner had installed in my shogun.
