well i will have a butchers at it when im down there, if its shagged proper i will just walk away and get some bad feedback, no worries, but sounds to me like the only prob is a blocked breather, valve stems or turbo seals.

has a good spec too

Astonomical milage (but allegedly low miles on that engine)
"uprated large t24 turbo" - Err ok?
Smokey (but allegedly a service will sort this??!! How?!)

Steer WELL clear, imHo.

my mate has one it's a fooking money pit... :o if it's smokey steer well clear, it will cost hundreds to put right, and many late night building incidents and swearing :| they are ok if top nick but a ragged one with that mileage will give you nothing but pain
there's always more to give and always more to get

as it goes i think i may be steering clear of this one as the seller isnt bothering to get back to me,just emailed the chap to get in contact with me within 24 hours, but i have found a nice white one anyways, lower mileage, standard spec but a long way away from me! :(

S13s are ok, they love rot, more rot, bottom ends, scraping its shells is its speciality and more rot ! ive never ever seen a clean one, and people who drove them always thaught they could have me off the lights in my s14a. they never did. As others have said, hope you got plenty of wonga spare.
Pay particular attn' to the sills, chassis and boot lid, these are favourite :)

Make sure and check what ever one you go for doesn't have a welded diff before you part with your cash..... Test drove one that I didn't know was welded and it's more scary than driving the MR2 in the wet lol

Mother had one and as said before you could stand back and watch it rot ! apparently the favourite place to rot is the rear bootlid which is rare as rocking horse poo to find !
I'll stick to my five door thank you !

my friend charlie is a nissan specialist too so parts and engine work in the future will not be a problem so jobs a goodun!!!!!
