proposed rover meet and greet
Hi fellow south west owners
i'm trying to organise a meet and greet for the beginning of next year
the proposed date is the sunday 18th jan
between 1pm-2pm at Exeter services then on to a pub for some food (maybe cat and fiddle depending on numbers)
i'll start a list if your interested just copy the list and add your name

Re: proposed rover meet and greet
My closest paycheck to the 11th is the 12th....
So unless you want to move it to the weekend after (18th or 19th) I'll have to give it a miss unfortunately.
I know you desperately want at least one good car at the meet so it would seem a tad counter-productive to hold it on the 11th and prevent me from coming... Wouldn't it?
I figure if I get in early and suggest a different date I may be in with a chance of changing it... But I'm a bit of a daydreamer so feel free to ignore me, it happens a lot so I wont be offended.

Re: proposed rover meet and greet
its only a proposed date so it can change its no bother to me to change the date
just have to ask the others that put there name down first
would the 18th be ok for the few that have put there name down already

How rude!!
But I'll rise above it and look past your obvious green-eyed-monster-ness and come along.
After all, you need at least one car to look up to at an auto-enthusiast meet... its only right it should be mine.

Vard, checking in.
Only provisionally, mind, I'll have to do some double checking for the finances, but I *should* be ok.

Re: proposed rover meet and greet
have you looked outside your windows tonight?!
If this weather holds up I'm not leaving the sofa tomorrow, let alone plymouth.
force 8 gales dont make for ideal car meets...
