Top spec forged engine... Price??

It is with regret that I'm putting this up for sale before I even got it in the car!

T16 engine from a 220 turbo.
85mm forged JE Pistons
Arrow forged rods
New crank, shells, balanced etc..
Oil pump with cooler take off. (4k miles)
Powdercoated water pump housing with new pump, reconditioned steering pump, new seals etc..
Stage 3 ported and polished head done by Hi-Flow heads in Scotland.
Piper 270 cams with custom made pulleys.
ARP head bolts, rod bolts and throughout...
Genuine Klinger gasket set fitted.
Farraday gaskets to stop heat soak.

Engine is painted in annodised purple.

AMW 4 branch stainless manifold
Genuine Garrett GT28RS turbo with polished housing. (2k miles)
Powdercoated purple intake manifold.
Genuine Rover sensors all new all round.
Also got my custom made purple gearbox with quaiffe diff and race spec gears!
Full set of stainless coolant pipes.
Full set of Samco purple hoses coolant and turbo NEW UNOPENED.
Forge actuator
Cookie Downpipe
Plenty more tbh...

I'm moving to Oz, so looking for a good price guide.
Might also have my custom made purple Hi-Spec 330mm 4 pot brakes for sale.

Should be good money for that spec as everything is at high standard and reputable parts I'd imagine around the £1500 mark as it would cost more than that to build the engine, I'd sell the rest of the bits seperate ie the mani and turbo,

As with anything rover, it's worth more in bits...

The head is always the biggest loss as you just can recuperate the labour costs in a performance head.

It's a huge spec and I'd say more than that as a complete unit, mine was slightly less than the figure stated and not as high a spec.

Basic it's a ball ache, then registration fees, also parts are hard to come by here...
You'd be down at least £3500-4000 just getting it in the country...

I have been talking to Jason about it... As he done it in December. As much as I would like to take it over, it's a big output. For £4k, I could buy a 5.0 hemi!
