Hey guys. Been ages since we've had a big donkey boy meet like we used to so was thinking to have a meet on a Saturday if possible? Was thinking Oct 24th. I can never make Sundays cos of work so just trying to gauge some interest if we can get something arranged. I was thinking of West coast of Scotland. Keith, where are you??! You can find us somewhere nice if possible to have a meet. Good carpark. Nice place to eat. Doesn't necessarily have to be quite your end. Maybe something a bit north or south. You travel about quite a lot so you probably know a few more places then I do. Any other ideas on location welcome as well. Let's make this meet happen guys. I was thinking of merging this with the MG forum like we have done previously and proved to be a successful one. Take it easy. Rav

Still deciding on locations. Any ideas are welcome from everyone. It doesn't have to be the west coast. I just suggsted that as it'll be different to our previous meets plus I always hear how beautiful and nice it is that way.

Hi Guys, couple of people on the MG forums have mentioned Dreadnaught Garage in Callendar. Has anybody heard of this place or been?

Would anyone be up for this? It's shut at the weekends but one of the guys on the forum says that he knows the owner and can probably get the place opened for us to have a look around and stuff. Any other ideas welcome too.

Hi, the tvr garage in callendar (before you come into the town on the r/h/side).. might be a good idea afterwards heading up towards loch lubnaig for some pics (weather permitting) at least one car park at the east/south end

Right, the meet at Callender is no longer happening as the boy on the zr forum will be working overshore and he is mates with the owners of the place so the place will be closed for the weekend. I still want to hold a meet for the same date, it just means is will have to be elsewhere. So suggestions welcome again.

A guy suggested we meet at a place called the Clachan out in the Campsies. Anyone familiar with this area? It's meant to be quite a nice little pub there where we can meet up and have lunch and a decent size car park and quite a scenic area and good roads and photo opportunities. It sounds good to me. Anyone else up for this?

yeah that could be a shout, its a bit of a trek from the east though mind you, think its a good 2 hour drive.

I think that could be a good possibility as its pretty central for both the east coast and west coast.... never been there, but then again, i havn't been to most of the places mentioned..but anywhere will do me, aslong as we get a good turn-out, promise i will be there this time!

i reckon somewhere central would be best, not a lot of light these days and i think a big trek might put people off. is there an official list anywere of whos all going as well btw?
