The offer is appreciated, but I'm changing the 'box at home in Oxfordshire, bit of a trek from Leicester. Got Thursday and Friday to remove the old 'box, take off the gearcase, fit the gearcase to the new 'box and fit the new 'box, and will be hiring an engine crane, so should work out as long as nothing else goes wrong!

How many gearboxes is this now?

This will be the 5th 'box I've had on the car and the second PG1. Nothing really wrong with the current 'box other than it being a bit leaky and clunky to change gear (well it did cost me £20!), but the new 'box has now got a type B diff, so worth the hassle (just about!).

If anyone else wants to offer their help, its more than welcome Think I'll just about manage on me tod, especially if I hire a crane, but it is a little too close to Saturday for my liking!
