7mm Hubcentric wheel spacers

Seems to be some interest in these again so looking at getting another batch made up, pics:





Specs:
140mm outside diameter.
4 x 100 PCD, 12.2mm holes.
Bored out 56.1mm by 5.2mm deep on rear.
56mm by 5mm deep protusion on front.
47mm hole through middle.

These are the dimensions I used for the last batch to give more clearance on the studs and location on the hub, nothing major just makes fitting easier. Check my feedback y0
As per the last batch, they will come supplied with 2 M6 x 20 countersunk stainless bolts per spacer to secure them to the hub. Either on top of the standard disc or will also work with ttrw2/C2K's Brembodge discs using the spare stud holes. Note the extra holes aren't shown in above pics.

I don't supply longer studs with them but they are available from ARP (Honda Civic fitment). To date I am only aware of 2 people who have used these studs, PeteT16 (with 6mm spacers) and rovtomcat93 who I made a custom 10mm thick pair for, obvioulsy in his case they were more of a necessity!

Expect price to be around £35 posted per pair

i dont need 7 mm, 5 mm will do me fine. its just so i can get ti brakes under turbo wheels .

Not a typo, they are now 7mm. The extra 0.2mm of depth bored out of the back of them meant that the nose on the front was only "hanging on" by 0.8mm if you see what I mean? So they've gone a mm thicker to beef this part back up. This only seemed to be an issue on the R8's with clearance problems, the pictured ones are still on my ZS, and still 6mm

5mm is too thin for hubcentrics for above reason, you'd just end up with a flat spacer. Seeing as your car is an R8, I can tell you that if you want hubcentrics, they'll have to be these, 7mm ones, again for reasons above.

Rite av been in the garage cheaking clearence's with my wheel's/brakes and I idealy need 10mm for that little bit extra clearence so to help the GB along al take 2 sets 10mm for the front and al take a 7mm set for the rear if thats ok by you

Will be going to the machine shop tomorrow, going for 2 pairs of 10mm and 5 pairs of 7mm.

Ross, what car are the rear ones for? I've just tried my pattern one on the back of the ZS (same as an R8) and the recess isn't deep enough. There's more hub poking through the disc than at the front. If they're for a bubble, it might be easier/better to space the whole hub out from the beam. Don't know what to suggest for an R8 though. It's not necessary to match front and rear, up to you.

I've let the machine shop know what I want so they're on the case. I think my stuff is done when they have some spare time so it could be a while yet. They have always let me know straight away when they're done so I just leave them to get on with it normally

Sorry for the delay, I collected the spacers today

Prices:
£35 posted for a 7mm pair,
£40 posted for a 10mm pair,
£30 collected for a 7mm pair.

Could everyone PM me reminding me what they want, it's a bit confusing following the thread!
I have 2 10mm pairs for Ross, and 5 7mm pairs for everyone else which I think is correct. Stef, I didn't allocate you a pair, but I think there's enough here for you to have a set, hence the collected price

Stupidly, I hadn't checked my stock of the countersunk bolts, so some more are winging their way to me as we speak.

Bolt situation is now rectified!

Due to a bit of a mix up between Ross and I, I now have:
4 x pairs of 7mm
1 x pair of 10mm

edward22 - Did you want a pair or were you happy to go with 5mm flat spacers?
stefaclese - Whatever the outcome of above, there's a 7mm pair going spare so feel free to jump in.

Can I interest anyone in the other 10mm pair? I believe you need them to fit Rob's Brembodge kit with Streetwise wheels.

hey fella . im not bothered. if 5 mm will sort me out then ill take 5 mm . i just want to avoid using longer studs as im to lazy to fit longer ones

only reason im after a set is cus i think the halfords cheapys are giving me wheel woble . im using them to get turbo rims over ti brakes you see,

Do these "require" longer studs ?

My car gets a bit of a hammering, and am worried that the standard studs wont cut it.

Same goes for the thinner ones you had done if people dont mind commenting

I did, frankly I wouldn't feel confident driving around without longer ones, ARP make some for a Honda which have the correct M12 x 1.50 thread and are much longer, I cut them down to suit my needs.

You'll need to pull the hub out of the bearing to fit them though, as they are pressed in from behind. A good time to renew the wheel bearings...

Are you able to produce these with a different centre bore on the outside?

I have an idea to buy a set of alloys that -while are 4x100 PCD- are VW fitment, so have 57.1mm centre bore. I know it's only half of sweet FA difference, but peace of mind and all that.

Don't go out of your way to do anything about it, but it'd be nice to know, for future reference!
