Lulz, I'd actually thought it had already been out with the amount of promo crap I saw last year for it. Looks pretty uninteresting to me, the only biog films worthy of my dollar so far have been Chaplin and Patton, so another flattering historical export film designed for Oscars doesn't look like much of a contender.
As for the state funeral, I couldn't care less as I'd be too busy celebrating. Besides, I'm sure her ghastly family has more than enough money stashed away by now. How about another cringing one? Just think, if she gets a state funeral, so could Blair some day
I don't agree with her policies and she shouldn't of sunk the belgrano etc etc
But as a woman she kicked donkey boy big time in and had the yanks eating out her hands and Europe scared silly. You hear stories of her reading the riot act to the cabinet and putting them in their place.
Just for that I think she should be given a special place I history and a state funeral.

Don't think so! The only one still alive that I can think of would probably be Gorbachev. If you're speaking domestically, well pretty much everyone has shown their cards over the last couple of years and I'm not remotely impressed with anyone.

Going back a few years, Paddy Ashdown (he was a Para!)? Michael Portillo?
Vince Cable and Alistar Darling seem ok to me. Boris, obviously. I have my suspicions that David Cameron and Nick Clegg are both fundamentally OK chaps.
I'd happily buy any of them a pint and chat to them at the bar for half an hour.
I don't actively follow politics, but those are the ones that have popped up on the radar and given a good impression of themselves. I did read Vince Cable's book.

While is disagree with many of her policies i do respect her methods. She was a hard faced mother hen and got what she wanted, i just wish she had wanted something else.
although I may not of agreed with all of her policys I thoughts she had balls and would fight anyone, all we have now is diplomatic talk which seems to move nowhere
