Xpower springs (clones) ZR diesel or T16.

Post by E_T_V »

I have one set of new springs without an owner from the group buy I ran over on mg-rover.org

These are now up for sale at the same price as the original group buy. £150 plus post or you can collect from Scunthorpe/Gainsborough.

You can check out the thread on the other forum to see the results, and feedback from owners etc.

These are new springs and are a clone of the Xpower ones with a very minor tweak to make them sit around 5mm lower. (Done due to popular request on the group buy).

These are probably the most suitable lowering springs for T16 ZR's which is why I was surprised more people from here didn't take me up on the group buy.

But anyhow.

One set of new xpower springs are surplus to my requirements.

First come, first served.

Book ride height for MG ZR is 366 +/- 10mm

Typical heights with these fitted are 335-345

XPowers quote a 20mm drop @ 346 +/- 10

These are roughly 5mm lower.

All figures are quoted for the ZR diesel but this is roughly the same as the T16 weight.

Plenty of fitted pics in the threads on .org that I've linked to. (Ignore any pics before about page 17 as the first set made had to go back for mods to get it more level and slightly lower)

He bought a set from me in the group buy. I think he has since sold them though to a guy in Germany.

Any interest on here from the T16 owners? Otherwise they'll find their way onto e-bay.
