DTA E48 - t16 - £400

Post by MGZR-TDI-Mk2 »

Hi all, here I have for sale a DTA E48 fully re programmable ecu for a t16 Zr.

Comes complete with ecu, a Zr wasted spark t16 loom, PC data cable and a 3 bar map sensor
Loom was made by Cableguy who is well known on here.

Here's the car ecu came off:

I bought this a year or so ago off DJwilma who got it off a 620ti (he bought the engine, turbo, ecu etc for his Elise) which was decently tuned, and the current map made 360bhp on the rollers (have the copy of map) he wanted a more expensive DTA with traction control so I bought it off him.

However this ecu will need mapping to suit your vehicle as each differs.. I'm not needing it anymore so decided to sell. I paid £400 for ecu, 120 for loom, 30 for map sensor and 25 for data cable (over £550)

REDUCED - I want £400 for it - any takers...?

tbf the e48 is obsolete mate, i sold a brand new S40, loom and new ford coil for £350. And only had 1 person interested.

Might be better sticking the ecu on the bay for a non-rover owner to go for. Shame about the loom tho, although that could be modded pretty easy for an S series so could be sold seperate.

Is that how much I paid you for it jase? Lol I ended up selling it for around the same price as well to ptomo and he has it installed in his mgzs! I didn't use it and just wanted money out but I was lucky I only had one person who expressed interest and took it and that was the s40 which is newer. Maybe better to stick just the ecu on eBay and see what you can get or alternatively hold out until someone has a build

I paid that and sold it for that as I have another with my build with a car I bought so it became surplus to requirements, if you check amw Facebook you will see my engine built up. So it was basically a little cash release.

Yep, exactly mate
Was indeed a bargin both times at 350 as It only has about 10minutes of on time on it and probably 1 crank count!
