bob (dad) run a 13.0 sec pass at 112mph at the pod yesterday... does that make it the fastest monty?
He recons 12's are deffo possibily as his starts were not very good..
Any one planning to go to the pod in novemeber?
I'd like to go once this year if the weather ok -not been there at all this year!

Hi Scott,
I met your dad yesterday, lovely chap, never saw what time he ran but if you say a 13.0 thats unreal, the car looked very clean, traction was a bit of a joke, i think they let him run in the right hand lane which they double glued in the morning for profesional cars and cars with slicks, the other side was stupid somebody droped there oil there and they put sand down, and left it there.
anyway was nice to meet your old man, i was the fella with the mg-zs and bagged a 13.6 myself
might try again once this year but the ques have been a joke really, still good fun, may try the 4th as they have fireworks on the 3rd and i think are doing a weekend of it all, so may camp over. anybody game?
Cheers
Ross

yes its the waiting 1 1/2 hr waiting for a run that put me off last year!
especially with a fwd as it so difficult to get the start right -especially when you know you have to wait forever if you chupa chup it up!
his 13.04 was with a 2.28sec 60ft time so 12sec pass should be possible...
13.6sec pass is pretty impressive in the zs also
I am hoping to get into the 12's next time.... well see though as it will be difficult

Nice one Scot, I was there on Sunday and heard about Bobs times, really impressive.
Sunday was great, sunshine and no queues in the afternoon, by 4 ish I was able to drive round and straight up to the line for another run, Ive never known it like that at the Pod.
Excellent times Regy, well done.
