Looks lovely, can I ask what's the bodywork like condition wise? Any corrosion showing on arch's, bottom of 1/4 panels?

Might be interested as I'm missing Rover Turbo power :(

There's a recentish detailing thread that was carried out on this car - had loads of pics of the car from different angles and up close etc, so might be worth a look.

Best of luck with the sale, looks to be in fantastic condition, even the engine bay looks very tidy despite all the work that has been carried out. :)

Cheers guys - I think I read somewhere previously that John (original owner) had it blown over? Not sure about this though, needless to say despite that it is one of the most solid Coupe's I've seen certainly no grot box. ;)

Ross, the obvious rust places seem to be clear, I don't use this car much if at all so can't advise 100% until I have a good look around it, but I think there is some small surface rust above the sill (above the GTI side spat) not sure if it's drivers or passengers side though.

Also the front black panel (in front of the Glass T Bar Panel's has faded a little) - I had bought some carbon fibre effect vinyl to cover it, but thought it best people see it for what it is.

If it was immaculate/Show room I would ask more, but like the bit mentioned above it would cost £300 to blow over hence why I priced it £2200 and not £2500 which we were originally thinking.

Just to say also that going through the documents, there is one MOT advisory which we haven't sorted yet and it's the Track rod ends need attention. But it was only an advisory - the car sailed through :)

Well that sounds fair enough to me mate, just as with any car its always difficult to tell from pics but looks in great condition to me. Don't want to mess you about so I'll just check my money situation at the min as wasn't really looking at buying something til the summer but I'd make more of an effort for that! :D

That's not a problem at all, nice and easy to sort any little bits like that out. Right I'll just check and see how much I've got in the saving account and get back to you next day or two, cheers for the fast response :)

If it hasn't gone thats madness.

This makes those overpriced so called mint FDH's seem way too over priced.
