Digital Freeview TV receiver and twin active aerials

Post by Raistlin »

Having only ever used this setup once in the 3 months I had it, I've decided to remove it from my car so its up for grabs.

CKO DVBT 1080
Digital Freeview automotive tuner.

This receives all Freeview digital TV channels plus DAB digital radio.

Complete with I/R remote controller and diversity receiver setup enabling the use of two aerials.

Multiple AV inputs and up to 3 TV outputs so you can have separate outputs to front and two rear monitors.

Upgradeable firmware via on-board RS232 connector.

For details see HERE.

This was the fourth make and model of digital TV tuner I tried before being satisfied with the picture and audio quality. Easily comparable, in my view, to the £500 receivers available.

I'm also including:-

ADSC 450 345T Aerials.

These were matched for me by the retailer and their specification can be seen Here.

The big advantage with the twin aerial setup is that the receiver uses them to achieve the best possible picture and audio either stationary or on the move.

These aerials are active (ie powered direct from the receiver) and have integrated amplification.

This setup produced perfectly adequate TV whilst the car was travelling at 50 mph.

I paid £255 for the complete kit 3 months ago so everything is in perfect condition and includes all manuals etc.

For sale at £165 including tracked shipping.
